SINGLE VISION

Single vision lenses provide only one type of vision correction, they are chosen lenses if you’re either near-sighted, far-sighted or astigmatic.

BIFOCALS

Bifocals are a type of lens that feature two different optical powers in one lens. The top part of a bifocal lens corrects distance vision, while a smaller portion at the bottom of the lens corrects near vision. When looking closely at bifocal lenses, you can see a line where these different viewing zones meet.

PROGRESSIVES

Progressive lenses are designed if you have more than one vision correction, such as nearsightedness and farsightedness. The surface in these unique lenses will appear completely seamless but secretly has different prescription areas. They can help you see up-close tasks like reading, middle-distance tasks like watching TV and far-distance tasks like driving, all while wearing the same pair of glasses.

ANTI-FATIGUE

Our eyes suffer the most from extended screen time, leading to discomfort and fatigue. Anti-fatigue lenses provide two corrective powers. They are a single vision lens that has a slight magnification, or boost, towards the bottom of the lens to alleviate the strain of close-vision tasks such as reading and screen work. This unique lens is designed to alleviate eye strain and enhance visual comfort.

HIGH INDEX

Unlike regular lenses, high-index lenses are designed to be thinner and lighter, making this a perfect choice for individuals with strong prescriptions for nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism. The secret lies in their ability to bend light more efficiently, resulting in sleeker, fashionable, and more comfortable eyewear.

POLYCARBONATE

Polycarbonate lenses are a type of eyeglass lens made of a strong yet lightweight plastic. They’re designed to withstand impact, correct vision issues, and give your glasses a streamlined appearance with their thin profiles. This is the best lens option for safety glasses!

PHOTOCHROMIC

Exposure to UV rays can cause damage to your eyes, leading to conditions such as cataracts and macular degeneration. Photochromic lenses are a type of glasses lens that change color depending on the amount of UV light they are exposed to. In bright sunlight, these lenses will darken to protect your eyes from both UVA and UVB rays, helping to keep your eyes safe from the harmful UV radiation. When you go inside or the UV light decreases, the lenses will turn back to clear. This means you only need one pair of glasses for both indoor and outdoor activities, making this a very convenient option!

PRESCRIPTION SUNGLASSES

For those who spend a lot of time outside, polarized lenses are an excellent choice. Polarization protects your eyes while reducing glare and increasing clarity when working outside, particularly in areas with high levels of brightness such as near water or snow.
